Credit Bureau APIs

The Credit Bureau APIs give you access to credit information through our credit bureau integrations, so you can check a customer’s credit history and make informed lending decisions.

Lendsqr is integrated with two of Nigeria’s three major credit bureaus:

• CRC Credit Bureau
• FirstCentral Credit Bureau

Getting started

To use these APIs, you need the BVN of the customer whose credit score you want to look up. For maximum coverage, you can run checks against both bureaus in sequence, which is more cost-effective than calling both at once. See Use cases for the Developer APIs for more on how lenders combine bureau checks with other decisioning APIs.
