Customer charged after loan settlement?

In some cases, the system may send a debit instruction to the customer bank account before it attempts to charge their saved card.

When this happens, the user’s account could be debited twice, once through the direct bank instruction and again via the card.

This situation might seem like an overcharge, but there’s no need for concern. The system automatically detects any duplicate debit and immediately takes action to correct it. The extra amount is credited back into the user’s in-app wallet without the need for manual intervention or support requests.

This process ensures that users don’t lose money due to technical overlaps during payment processing. It’s designed to protect a customer and maintain trust while ensuring a smooth repayment experience.

If the user checks their transaction history, they’ll see both the original debit and the refund reflected clearly. This way, everything remains transparent and easy to track.
