Lendsqr allows lenders to control which countries their borrowers can apply from, helping to manage geographic risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
You can find and configure this setting by navigating to:
Admin Console → Preferences → System → Location Restrictions
There, you can choose to:
- Allow borrowers from all countries
- Allow only specific countries
- Block certain countries
For example, if you’re based in Nigeria and want to test lending in Ghana, you can update the settings to allow only borrowers from Nigeria and Ghana. This helps you manage expansion while keeping risk in check.
Only users with admin rights can change these settings, and any changes made will immediately apply to new borrower applications.
